     At the Department of Technology of Restaurant and Ayurvedic Products, special attention is paid to educational work.

     The mentors of academic students groups of the department of technology of restaurant and ayurvedic products carry out educational activities:

- spend curatorial hours, during which the results of students' success are discussed and analyzed, and the ways of its improvement are determined;

- respond promptly to the decline in academic performance and student learning gaps;

- visit hostels;

- together with students take part in events and holidays (Freshman's Day, Day of the Faculty of Hotel-Restaurant and Tourism Business, Day of Tourism, Day of Ukrainian Song, etc.);

- organize excursions of students to exhibitions, museums, restaurants, etc.;

- Students have stressed the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

      During the academic year, teachers of the Chair of Technology of Restaurant and Ayurvedic Products implemented measures for employment and vocational guidance among senior students and graduates:

- Within the framework of the Doors Open Days in October 2018, a master class on the art of coffee preparation was held by the head of the barista school, bar-manager of the Gemini Espresso network of establishments and a graduate of the НRTB - Vladislav Dudar faculty, to which students of 1-3 speciality courses were involved " Food Technology ».

- On October 18, 2018, was celebrated the Day of Food Workers, in which a master-class on the preparation of modern sweet-shaped sweet dishes from the graduate of the speciality "Food Technologies" Victoria Savchuk was organized for the masters of the group TR-1-1M.

- On October 30, 2018, 3rd and 4th-year technology students attended a lecture by renowned chef Yevgeny Klopotenko, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the modern trends of the restaurant industry and the requirements for the modern restaurant.

- On November 2, 2018, students of the ХЧ-4-1 and ХЧ-4-2ск groups had the opportunity to join a master class from Chef Yevgeny Klopotenko and to get acquainted with the vision of a successful restaurateur and showman on traditional and modern culinary arts

- November 11, 2018, he is a  monitor of the ХЧ-1-2 group, assistant Mikhailenko V. an excursion to the institution of the restaurant "Beer House" was organized in order to acquaint future professionals with the profession.

- November 13-15, 2018, students of 1-5 courses together with academic groups and teachers of the Department of Restaurant and Ayurvedic Technology visited the International Expoforum of Restaurant and Hotel Business and Cleaning FoReCH 2018 at the International Exhibition Center, where they had the opportunity to join the atmosphere of the hospitality industry, learn about the trends of the restaurant industry and attend interesting seminars and workshops.

- On November 17, 2018, the second Doors Open Days of NUFT was organized, which involved students of the 3rd and 4th year. As part of the event, a masterclass for high school and college entrants and senior students of pastry arts from the chef-confectioner at Hilton Kyiv, a graduate of the HRTB faculty - Tatiana Loza, was held.

- On November 13, 2018, and March 13, 2019, mentors with 2-5 year students attended a job fair, a thematic exhibit, and lectures from top employers held at NUFT.

- On November 27, 2018, a master class was organized and conducted for students of the 4th year and master's students from the chef of the specialized restaurant "KazN Divan", graduate-technologist - Vladimir Emanov. In addition to the practical knowledge, students could learn about the peculiarities of implementing the HACCP quality control system in the restaurant industry and the requirements of the employer for the future employee.

- On November 30, 2018, students of social science "Food Technologies" had the opportunity to attend a seminar, to get acquainted and to ask their questions to the famous restaurateur, the owner of the restaurant chain "Our Map", Mykola Tyshchenko.

- On March 12, 2019, lectures were organized for students by Kateryna Lavrynovych, manager of the American hotel brand Holiday Inn, which is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group on "Features of F&B Services in the Holiday Inn Hotel Network."

- On April 1-2, 2019 students of the 1st year of the short term study with the support of the dean's office, NUFT employment department and with the participation of curators attended a mini-production of "Silpo-Food" LLC for participation in a workshop for the preparation of flour bakery products.

- April 9, 2019 within the discipline "Bar Business and Organization of Sommelier Work" for students of the 4th year of speciality "Food Technologies" Master of AY-1-2M group  Valchuk Andriy, bar manager of the institution "House of Tribal" conducted a thematic master- a class on modern technologies of preparation of mixed drinks.

- On April 18, 2019, a lecture was held by representatives of the Ayurvedic Center "Ayurveda-192", managing Pitenko Y. and nutritionist Osipenko G. in order to deepen the cooperation of the department and the centre, employment of masters, as well as in the framework of the event with the masters of the group AY-1-2M under the guidance of assistants. Polevika V. held a thematic master class with the involvement of 4th-year students to familiarize them with one of the master's specializations.

- On May 17, 2019, within the discipline "Technology of production of the restaurant industry", a master class for students of the 4th year of speciality "Food Technologies" was organized by Vedmid Svetlana, chief confectioner of the restaurant house "Antresol" in Sumy. The event was conducted in the style of a business game with the distribution of technological processes between students of the stream for better consolidation of theoretical knowledge.

      To acquaint students with the features of the organization and functioning of restaurants and restaurants of different types and formats, as well as to establish relations of the Department TRAP with enterprises on the practical training of students and further employment of graduates, a number of field trips and excursions were conducted in the following institutions :

- establishments of the restaurant management of the hotel “Vita Park Borysphen” of the national network “Reikartz Hotel Group” (1 sem.);
- establishments of the restaurant management of the Pesto Cafe network (Fortuna Star LLC) (2 sem.);
- establishments of the restaurant management of the Fairmont Hotel (Hotel Management LLC) (2 families);
- establishments of the restaurant management of the Holiday Inn Hotel (JSCST Toronto-Kiev) (2 sem.);
- WorldFood Ukraine International Food and Beverage Exhibition (October 23-27, 2018);
- International Expoforum of Restaurant and Hotel Business and Cleaning «FoReCH» (November 13-15, 2018);
- IFFP 2019 International Food and Packaging Forum (April 11-13, 2019).

- The practice of graduation works and projects commissioned by enterprises has been introduced. Yes, the master of the AY-2-2M Avramenko Maxim group fulfilled and successfully defended the complex diploma work "Scientific substantiation and development of technology of Ayurvedic sweets with combinations of spices" at the request of the administration of the institution of the restaurant economy of LLC "ARZHOS", gastropub "Kyiv, Tarelka, Kyiv. where innovative products are currently being released.
